Forest Park – South 2 Expressway Guanmiao Service Station
The 60-hectare Forest Park was originally named Bao An Lin, and is sit-uated in Shenkeng and Budai villages. The park is home to dozens of species of trees, and was a key tourist destination project that Guan-miao Township Office heavily invested in during the One Village One Farm project.
The park is very close to Taiwan 19A expressway. Visitors who arrive can directly access the center of the park through a newly built road shaded by verdant groves. The woods provide a natural and serene embrace that bathes visitors in soothing phytoncides as they admire the wondrous beauty of the verdant environment. The park includes over 60 hectares of maple trees with leaves that turn red in autumn. Although not as majestic as the scene at Aowanda National Park, the shedding maples are still a sight to behold.

- South 2 Highway Guanmiao Service Area -
The Guanmiao service area occupies a total area of 22 hectares and was constructed at an expense of NT$ 400 million. It was considered the most beautiful and unique resting station along the entire length of Freeway No. 3.
The service station includes both north-bound and south-bound sections and has integrated temple roof designs unique to Guanmiao District. The north-bound service station has been planned as a dinosaur-themed gallery with relevant textual and artistic depictions of the prehis-toric beasts in the eatery and retail areas. Giant dinosaurs measuring over a dozen meter in length provide an instantly recognisable landmark for visitors.
The service station include resting areas, children's playground, and other amenities. The public bathroom are uniquely designed to include diaper-changing tables as well as astonishing pineapple sculptures cre-ated by melding pineapples with local Guanmiao residents.
The Guanmiao Service Station sky bridge is also uniquely designed, and currently claims to be the largest hanging coffee gallery spanning across the highway. The bridge connects both the south-bound and north-bound service stations and includes a total of 40 French window glass panes on either sides. The outside scenery is especially beautiful during the night. Singing performances will also be provided every night. Student groups will also hold a series of diverse events as well.
